Always read the description - important part numbers to remember before buying

This is an ACK-E17 review and why You must read the full description at Revain. I ordered this power supply for my Rebel T6i as I shoot a lot indoors and changing the battery frequently can be a hassle. Unfortunately I had to return this product, not because it's terrible but on the contrary. It appears to be well made and the installation was great apart from one issue, the T6i's battery compartment. After emailing Tony at Glorich Power I was told that this model number was only for the EOS M3, M5, M6. because its battery compartment is made differently. It uses the same LP-E17 battery as the T6i, which is why I jumped on that part number. When I saw the "E17" I thought they all worked the same way and from my own experience I was convinced that they didn't. So if you have a Rebel T6i (750D, EOS Kiss X8i), Rebel SL2 (200D, Kiss), SL3 (200D II, 250D), T6s (760D, 8000D), T7i (800D), 77D or EOS RP, you can need an ACK-E18 which I will buy. Again, "E18" does not refer to the battery but to the DC coupler in the box. It has the right battery design to work with the battery cover on these cameras. However, ACK-E18 does not work with Rebel T6 or T7 which require ACK-E10. Again: ACK-E10 is suitable for T6 and T7. ACK-E12 fits M, M2, M10, M50 and M100 mirrorless models. Canon cameras. This ACK-E17 is suitable for EOS M3/5/6 mirrorless cameras as above. ACK-E18 is for T6i, T6s, T7i, SL2, SL3, 77D and RP. The only reason for this return is that I misread the part number. Glorich Power's Tony did a great job on this fix.
