A good hard pad is best in Body Repair Tools
I usually use hex pads. They work fine. But I watched the Griots video and thought ok I'll give it a try. I have to say I like it. seems to cut better i think because it's thinner and transmits more power. I used their fast acting corrective cream and then machine polish 3 (which I had). Removed scratches and restored shine to my truck. It's daily so I don't get too stressed. I believe they are great for polishing plastic. I'll take 3 inches and try it on my taillights. In general very satisfied.
