Update 8/3/2020: It's been almost a year and my 3 year old still loves dinosaurs and dresses. It's one of the first things she pulls out of the drawer once the laundry is clean. It has withstood well over 30 washes and has become much softer and slightly faded. She wears leggings underneath because she's grown up and 3T is basically just the length of the tunic at the moment. She also likes that it has pockets (you can hear her disappointment when she finds a dress without pockets). I went back to pick out a new dress as it's almost time to throw it away or save it for her little sister. Overall it was a good buy as we've had a tremendous amount of wear and tear from it. I'm so thankful that there are dinosaur clothes on the market right now that are made for girls. To do this, I "tried" 3T and had to stick with 2T. She is very average height, 2 years old, around the 45th percentile in weight. I wanted to make sure she could wear this dress for a while and now it's really far. Very cute and cute on photos. Underneath I'm wearing Capri leggings that are almost shorter than the dress. She liked the pockets (although it struck me as odd that they were on the absolute side of the dress). The material is not soft, but it does not fade after washing and drying.
