I wish I had read the reviews first - a dangerous item to install
That way the item fits where it should. It also gives the passenger a small place to put small items - a phone, charger, sunglasses, etc. HOWEVER, by "fitting in" this shelf you are actually closing off the spot where the passenger airbag deploys. Basically, when you get into an accident, not only does your passenger get hit by an airbag, but that cute little plastic shell is no Bueno.
