We bought 3 sets of yellow ribbons. Only 18 pieces. At outdoor gatherings we gave them to the children to wear for the adults to see in the evenings. The fabric was durable and we turned them on when handing them out to each of the kids, but some of them wouldn't turn on even after changing the battery. After 20 minutes some of the kids who had them wrapped around their wrists/ankles came back to us and the plastic inner with the light came out. They weren't involved in any physical activity so we were surprised to see them falling apart, especially if they were designed for walking/jogging/running. Of the 18 parts, about 6 didn't work or stopped working within a few minutes (even after changing the battery). Other parts worked fine but started falling apart within a few hours. I might consider buying cheap disposable glow sticks instead of investing in these items in the future. I had high hopes that they would last a little longer.
