I love our Ninja Foodie 8.5Qt cooker. One issue that I had with it is that when you vent the steam after pressure cooking, it would spray up on the cabinets above it. Additionally, the whole house would smell like whatever you were cooking. This steam hood directs the steam away from the cabinets and allows me to to direct it to the range hood over my stove, where it is sucked outside (so now my neighborhood smells delicious instead of just my house). The product does not have retain odor, and we have successfully washed it in the dishwasher. I hope this review and my video helps you.
