Straight out of the box, love it. It feels sturdy and looks relaxed. The leather and brass are beautiful. I looked at the women's belts but they all looked too business/formal and I was hoping for something more residential like my husband's. I definitely recommend it. Also, since the waist of women's jeans is closer to the hips, I inserted a tape measure into the belt loops and used it to measure my belt size.
