They're fine. I use a sloping and wide area for my brows. I use long pointed for sewing. The angled blades are too thick to gently pluck eyebrow hairs. Wide blades are good for large areas though, so it's nice. I still prefer to use my angled mini Tweezerman tweezers. The blades are much thinner and pluck hair more accurately. In fact, with these tweezers it is impossible to pull out the finest hairs. While they're a nice addition to my collection, they're not essential. I bought them for $5 so I really don't know what I was expecting.
