I've bought others but for some reason I didn't like them or felt they dried out my hair. The brushes sometimes felt like they were breaking my hair. I decided to try this one and I'm happy with it! It works well and I don't feel like it breaks or over-dry my hair. It gives my hair the volume I need as I have very thin hair. Volume stays too! The only thing is that I have small hands so it felt a bit heavy at first but I think after 2 weeks of use I got used to it lol. All in all, I'm glad I bought it!
