Review on Timberland PRO Waterproof Industrial Construction by Michael Baird

Revainrating 4 out of 5

They are still in good shape now, almost two years later.

As a pipe fitter I have worked in some of the toughest environments imaginable. While working on the Trans-Alaskan Pipeline in Valdez, Alaska, it quickly became apparent that the boots I was wearing would not survive the 8 weeks on, 2 weeks off, seven 10 hour shifts we worked . (That's right guys, 7 days a week, 10 hours a day, 8 weeks straight.) I did a little research and found these boots. Two weeks after the first turn I ordered them along with two sets of airbags. Not only have these boots survived three revolutions on the pipeline without a scratch, but they are in good condition almost two years later. . I'm not going to lie to you and tell you that you want to wear them all the time. The fact is, there is no known work boot that will prevent foot pain at the end of a hard day on concrete or grating. However, these boots are the most comfortable pair I've ever had and my feet hurt less in them than any other brand I've tried, which is always a plus. I've worn these boots to work on pipelines, combined cycle power plants, and coal. Homes, paper mills, nuclear weapons and even Blue Origins in Cape Canaveral, Florida. If they ever wear out there's no doubt I'll buy the same damn thing or not.
