AKG BlueTooth ROCK headphones! I got a pair of these through a promotional offer when I bought the new Samsung Galaxy 8 smartphone. It came with a VR headset and a 256GB memory card. Initially I was skeptical about the quality of listening to real music, considering it only as part of the virtual reality gaming system. However, having grown up with audiophile Sennheiser headphones and having enjoyed B&O cans for many years, I was blown away by the musical reproduction of these headphones. They rock my sports music during my Pandora workouts and have great tight bass and crisp clear highs. Very loud when you turn them all the way up without distorting or breaking the bass. The battery life is very good. I've never had a battery drain despite playing with it for hours and not charging. I'd say the 15 hour battery life claims are probably accurate. I usually just plug it in to charge after a few trips to the gym or VR gaming. When I found out how good they were my girlfriend wanted her to wear a pair of BEATS to the gym so I bought her this silver pair for her birthday instead. she loves them! I just don't see the point of shelling out an extra $150 for BEATS when these headphones sound just as good and offer great battery life. They look super cool in black (my pair) or silver (my girlfriend's pair) with spooky "AKG" lettering on the cans. Bluetooth range is 30 feet non-stop with my Samsung Galaxy S8. Pairing is very easy and the volume buttons sync with your phone's volume control. One button turns them on/off and one button answers/ends calls. These headphones are super cool! "Star" failed because an earphone fell off through use. It was easy to replace, it shouldn't just come loose with normal wear and tear. Also, they don't have noise-cancelling, but they're spending another $100, and AKG will make a pair with them. Quality and features for less than $150. I like them a lot more than the BEATS others wear and the battery life amazes me. The headphones can also be worn very comfortably over a longer period of time without having any discomfort in the ears or head after more than an hour. If I were to buy another pair I would get noise canceling just because I think they would be great to wear on the plane. But other than that, I can't think of anything I would do to improve on these headphones. AKG BlueTooth headphones rock!
