Despite bad reviews, I trust Garmin. I use many of their products so I took a chance. I bought this for my 80lb blue nose who loves to bark, growl and eat squirrels. I used to use a cheap bark collar and it worked but hurt him. This allows him to bark about 3 times before stopping (no pain). I don't want to stop him from barking all the time, just stop the endless barking. This works very well. Although the app shows him barking throughout the day, that's not the case. The software records general play and noises such as barking. This may be something Garmin can fix with software if they wish. The LEDs go out and that can be confusing. At first I thought it would stop working or turn itself off because I couldn't even connect to my phone. It's actually still his turn, just falls asleep until the dog barks again. I've found that if you rub the tips on a wooden table you can see how it works. I really like this bark limiter.
