I like my old apple watch stand elago W3 so I bought a couple of newer devices (W4 and W6) for my office and as gifts for my wife but she soon found hers was sporadic and I confirmed the same with mine. The charger and Apple Watch must be EXACTLY aligned or the watch won't charge, and even if it does, it may stop charging later if you're not looking. We've tried very hard to find ways to align everything so these racks will work reliably, but to no avail.
