Today (the day after receiving it) I washed my hair. The first thing I noticed were small pieces of cotton (black and brown) and a few strands of brown hair. As soon as I held my hair under water it started to look tangled. At this point, he was still bound and just under water. It's also not as soft as "good hair" BUT the tangle combed through very easily so I continued washing and conditioning. While the body wave is almost completely gone, that may be because it's wet and heavier than dry. The hair is now styled dry. I'll update once I've dried it, turn it into a wig and wear it. I'm praying it turns out better than I thought as I ordered this for my birthday based on other reviews.
