Review on 🌬️ Emerson Quiet Kool 8,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner with Remote Control, EARC8RE1, 115V, White, 8000 BTU by Oscar Rhodes

I bought this window air conditioner in 2017 for my bedroom on summer nights. Worked well for one summer. One night last summer it started beeping in the middle of the night. I looked at him and he himself set the thermostat to the highest setting of 88 degrees. I wanted to set it back to 70 degrees and it went down to 61 degrees, the lowest setting. I had no control over the temperature setting at all. It looked like something got stuck in the circuit board. I turned it off and cleaned it as best I could. After that it has been working fine for a year now. He does the same again. Now none of the buttons work and it gets stuck at 88 degrees which is useless. Stay away from this air conditioner. It must have taken longer because I don't use a ton of it.
