Ok Well my skin doesn't peel like in some videos I've seen but it's really great. They exfoliate way better than any gloves I've tried in years. In fact, my exfoliating gloves felt more like a rag compared to them. I realized how ineffective these gloves were in comparison. I have very dry skin especially on elbows, knees and feet and they have worked wonders! My elbows etc are very soft now and I only use these mittens about 3 times a week. This is great to use before applying self tan lotion but be aware it will remove any tan you have lol. But it did get rid of dark spots from buildup on dry skin, so most of the time I only use it on those dry patches. They shrink a bit when they get wet, but since they're larger than other mittens I've seen, they're not difficult to hold on to at all (I'd wear a medium glove for reference). I would say they are like sandpaper for leather. That's how I would describe them, so everyday use isn't great, but they don't need it either. They can cause skin sensitivity, but I think it really depends on how hard you're applying pressure. They have worked great for my elderly mother who has very dry skin that is also getting thinner and more sensitive but then again it is pressure so they shrink her very dry skin and don't irritate it. They also have a small tag inside that makes a great loop to hang them up to dry in the shower. Very convenient. I still use softer exfoliating mitts daily and then use these mittens 2-3 times a week for a deeper exfoliation. Love it! I'm giving them to everyone in my family to try!
