It's handy to have my tablet in hand when I'm rehearsing a new song with my band. It slides to accommodate large tablets. I wasn't sure how stable the mic stand is with my large 12" Samsung Pro tablet, but I can say my tripod mic stand does a great job with it and the attached drinks/selection tray. the ability to charge it if necessary. It also has plenty of pivot points to position your tablet at an angle just where you need it. Much better than the old music stand I used. Seems well put together, I have no complaints and would buy again if needed.
