Review on Emerson CKS3516 SmartSet Dual-Alarm Clock Radio with Time Projection System (Limited Availability) by Lisa Holland

Buy for every bedroom!

I'm so glad I found this product at Revain. I originally bought this watch over 4 years ago for my wife for Christmas from a radio shop branded radio shop. Radio Shack has stopped selling the product and it could not be found on the website/catalog either. My whole family loves this product. We had one in the master bedroom. Whenever the kids are sick, my wife steals it to sleep in her room. I was looking for a product with the same unique combination of properties. 1) nuclear plant. 2) Projector with mirror and brightness. 3) LARGE LEDs that you can still see during the day and large LEDs so I can read the clock without glasses at night. 4) Reliability - I've been using it for 4 years and it works perfectly. 5) Dual alarms with MF capability and holiday function. (Love it!). 6) LED brightness level. (I'm very sensitive to light when I sleep. I like total darkness.) I never use the radio. I use different sounds - birds, sea sounds etc. The reason I order several is the unique combination of quality and performance. I think the radio store was also [.]. So it's a deal with Revain. Other comments you will read talk about the reliability of cheap watches. This one is rock hard. Insert a battery. Set the alarm to MF. Literally never touch a watch again. My electricity goes out at least twice a month. I don't even have to think about the clock or the time. Reliable watch. I like the projector. ALL projectors are turned off during the day. I don't mind at all. If a projector were powerful enough to block out the sunlight, your entire room would glow red at night. My upstairs bedrooms have sloping ceilings. The clock has a mirror switch that I can use to turn the time. In some rooms, you flip an interior mirror and project it onto the wall. (If you're one of those people who needs to have an alarm clock across the room to overcome snooze addiction, you can always project over your bed.) If I want it to be directly above me, it can i do it. I prefer it on the slope opposite the bedroom. This increases the height of the digits by several feet and significantly decreases their brightness. (The closer the projection, the brighter the numbers). But it allows me to look up at a 45% angle and check the time. The best thing about projector clocks is that you don't have to turn around and move things around on your bedside table to see what time it is. Just open your eyes and look at the ceiling.
