I do not think the black band is sun proof. I could be wrong.

What I was after was the gentle curve of this hat.
The hat came folded up into an envelope, so it unfolded all "wonky.” I bought a steamer to improve it, but I decided I was likely to return it. Not wanting to damage it more, I did not steam it.

Pros

Interior woven sweatband, the straw hat is super cute and lightweight that breathable and comfortable for warmer weather. Because it is made by weaving Please Do Not Machine Wash or Brush Wash

Cons

The wide brim may be cumbersome and obstructive in windy conditions

This hat looks very cheap in real life it basically feels like plastic and dents easily. Not foldable at all like the title states. However, it is a pretty style if you want something budget friendly. It probably wont last you very long though.
