I am currently maintenance free. My hair is brittle and breaks often so I try to stay away from high temperature tools. That's great. I read negative reviews about it and was always afraid that my hair would get caught in it and I would have to cut it. Well that didn't happen. I assume anyone complaining about this is trying to force their hair on. Just let the machine grab your hair for you. I divide my hair into SMALL strands. Just take a strand, put it in the machine and let it grab. Don't try to put your hair in there. Also, do not twist the waistband in one strand with the machine. He will get stuck. Most of what I do is twice. It is better to put the machine higher and let it warm up to the end. My curls always look great. This machine is MUCH better than any other I've tried in the past. PERIOD. This curler is also rechargeable which is great. It's durable too! I highly recommend it! Your hair won't stick together if you follow the instructions. Small sections and don't force them!
