Cat Approved best in Cats

I have two cats and they both love these scratching posts. As soon as I pulled this one out and put it back together, my cats came over to check it out and started scratching. Mat. Because it's shaped like a surfboard, it has ribs that keep the pad at an angle; My cats seem to like it a little more than the flat we have. Although they certainly love both. This is also large enough for cats to lie on. I mean, they're cats, there's not much room in there, but somehow they manage lol. It looks like there was no catnip on this notebook. Most of them smell faintly of catnip, but not this one. So I just put some of the ones I already have on it and now I have some very happy little kittens. If you don't know such a notebook, then it's just cardboard that cats like to scratch. I think this is a must if you have a cat because it keeps them from scratching the furniture and stuff. You prefer these. Just put one next to a piece of furniture you don't want to scratch and they'll pick it first. It has worked wonders on every cat I've ever had. The addition of catnip makes them super potent and your cats will want to scratch and sleep on them all the time. I find this scratch pad a bit pricey. However, this one is thick and durable and looks like it will last a bit longer than the more established brand you buy at the big chain stores. It's also slanted, which is nice. I've placed a picture of this device next to one of the other brand's small devices (which cost around $6) for comparison. Overall it's a good notebook, but I'm hesitant to recommend it at such a high price tag of over $30. A really good notebook for the price.
