The case itself is very thick and feels solid in the hand (a bit heavy but I really like it) and even works with the font coverage. It can adjust to different degrees of tilt/angle, which is a plus, but I don't think you'll be comfortable using this case for tablet mode - you may need to remove the keyboard and place it elsewhere. My two main concerns are: 1. The side rails that surround the front/sides of the Surface are very flimsy compared to the case itself, which can't even secure the tablet in place - the case still seems to be able to move around little on the sides; 2. The case on one side actually blocks the magnet mechanism for the Surface Pen's natural attachment (I know the case has a pen loop for the pen itself, but it would be nice if the design took Surface's native pen into account and could use fastening mechanism)
