I think it's a regular plug but it had half ** instructions. So if I'm doing it right I can't find a support number to call to ask so I used the longest screw that was in the box and since there isn't one anyway I won't tell you that I first removed my original wall plate to install it but it was very very loose, wobbled too much so I removed it and put mine back into the original wall plate and then screwed that connector back on top of mine. but still very very wavy and loose so i just said hell and left it as is because i was tired of messing around with it. I spent my money on it. I mean yes it works but god I thought the description said it wouldn't wobble or fit loose (in their own wording but can't remember the exact words) I was trying to find something like that MADE IN USA but I got really tired of scrolling around looking for What is done here oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo... That makes him move appropriately and it's difficult to turn things off because I have to hold onto it to turn something off and it's behind my entertainment center so it's very difficult to do, also it's not made in America 🇺🇸 and the instructions were very confusing/difficult to understand, especially if you're not an electrician or versed in these things. I'm still looking for one like this, but much better than this. Oh I gave 3 stars (maybe too good idk) because at least it still works
