I've been on the hunt for large bowls for salads. In the summer especially, we tend to have big salads for dinner but regular bowls just don't cut it. I got frustrated because the few occasions I found some, they seemed thin, were expensive and came in a set of 4. It's just the 2 of us now and I don't want to clutter up my cabinets with things I don't need. Plus, I'd like durable bowls that are worth their price. These are perfect! You get two 2.8 quartz sized for $28.99 (current listing price) and they are exactly what I have been looking for. These are durable, thick and very large. They were perfect for our big salads and we recently discovered, when doing takeout from our favorite Pho place, that these were the exact right size for that as well. If you've ever had Pho, then you know what I mean. Small soup bowls don't work. The color is really nice, there were no chips or cracks upon receiving and they were packaged very well. They are easy to clean and are dishwasher safe but even though we have a dishwasher, we pretty much wash everything by hand. They are also microwave, freezer and oven safe. Definitely recommend!
