A neck brace is needed to hold the pads in place and can be shaped to hold the pads closed.
The pads have proven very helpful and I have noticed a reduction in neck wrinkles and sagging chin after a few uses. It seemed difficult to keep the end of the pad against the skin as the velcro around the neck didn't hold the curves of the end of the pad in place. The cleaning soap works well. I haven't used pads every night but am impressed with how well they work and glad I have this product and will use it in good faith for special occasions.
