If there are air pockets in the corners of the bag, the machine is not strong enough to suck the air out of the corners unless there is a clear and unobstructed path to the air.

Not a big deal, just requires an extra step of moving the food items around in the bag before sealing.I also noticed that sometimes a little bit of air gets back in the bag after sucking but before sealing.While the suction power isn't that strong, it works well enough, especially considering the price.
