Review on πŸ”Œ ineo Grommet Desk-Fit (2.3-2.4" Diameter) 2 Type A + 2 Type C with Audio Mic Jack + 3.2" Expandable Case (Power Not Included) [THC06 - VI Plus] by Jonathan Suarez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I was going to give it 5 stars but there wasn't room for it

OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT that you may or may not need. It doesn't come with an AC adapter (the product page never says that just says you should probably get an AC adapter if you intend to use the USB ports to charge phones or whatever when the computer is off.) I purchased the item from the link below and it worked fine. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07F9XWBSY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 REVIEW: I would give it 5 stars but the links are too close together for them to be able to get it (and do). in the way, depending on the devices used. EXAMPLE. When inserting the Blue Tooth adapter into the Type A jack on my Corsair Void headphones, there is not enough room to insert a regular sized USB flash drive into a different Type A jack (head thickness), you may notice, that it interferes with the left Type-A port or the right Type-C port. The first attached picture shows how I had to cut the rectangular USB connector to make room for another USB stick that would "fit" in the left Type A connector. The second attached picture shows how the 90 Β° Low Profile USB Adapter required removing the 90Β° Headphone Jack Adapter. due to interference between the two ports. With the caveats mentioned, I would still buy one of these! Most decent desks have 2 standoff slots and I have enough USB ports on the motherboard (19 ports total on the motherboard*) to plug the second one into. This makes connecting USB devices MUCH easier than running cables directly to the back of your computer or leaving a USB extension cable on your desk. * Asus ROG Hero VI (X370 chipset) has 14 rear USB ports, connectors on the left side of the motherboard for 2 front USB2 ports and 2 front USB 3 ports, plus an additional USB 3.1 port Connection between SATA and ATX, a total of 19 usable USB ports.
