Great cable, 2 1/2 years or more. I've used it in multiple applications so it has survived multiple reconnects. Wire and insulation are of great importance. Plugs fit well and are durable. Recommend Belkin or Mediabridge brands for best value. A cheap or bad quality cable is beyond useless, as is an unreliable flashlight. Keep a long cable of each type handy so you don't have to buy expensive, low-quality cables locally in an emergency. You, family and friends will be glad you have a good replacement part. Since I started wiring computers and components at home in 1983, lousy cables have cost me over a few hours. The same applies to electronic entertainment products. Beware of cheap imitations as described in some reviews. If you receive it, write a review and return it to Revain. Belkin may also be interested.
