I was given a sample that would not be displayed, and my brother and I ended up keeping it. If you need to modify the height of the back or the angle at which it is angled, this can be done without the need for any equipment. The fixation is reliable, and even if I am sitting in a chair in front of the computer in a relaxed position, there is no scenario in which it moves off because of a change in the center of gravity or body position. This is because the fixation is not affected by either of those factors. It was brand new and in good condition when it arrived, and I anticipate that it will be in the same form once a year has passed. At least there isn't any cloth upholstery that may perhaps disintegrate with time, even possibly as a result of the resident purr. Here is what I think I've learned thus far.
