**Edit** I've been contacted by 4 different emails trying to give me gift cards to have this review removed. So be careful with positive reviews. " isn't wood and basically looks like styrofoam. It can be crushed with your fingers if you squeeze it hard. I got the dowels and screws in place perfectly, but if you put a proper shelf against the wall it will Material too soft and I would trust ANYONE with the weight of this thing. I tried to put the perfume bottle on the shelf and everything wobbled forward. That was before there were any decorations on it. Rather spend more money on something that doesn't look like painted cotton candy.
