It works, but the colors on the wires are reversed.
Couldn't get this to work with my old Canon ZR40 mini DV camcorder connected to an 8 year old Samsung LED TV. Read some reviews online that mention cables are wrongly color coded. Switched the plugs to component jacks on the TV and it finally worked. There is no quality control.
