Works well. No more clapping.
Installed on a 2016 Ram 1500. The instructions state that the kit includes a tube of threadlocker and a sheet of mylar. Neither was recorded. The torx wrench that came with the kit didn't fit either. The supplied "cable clamp" does not fit over the cable. Steps 5 and 6 of the ball mounting plate assembly instructions do not show the correct parts. Once installed, it works as expected. Hope the cylinder holds up.
