I used to buy Fiskars blades but it wasn't a good buy. I traded in my old blade for one of these new ones and it was awful. I kept having to cut. I disassembled and reassembled it if it was me. The same thing. It was only one of the blades and I hope the other four aren't too bad. Seriously my old very used blade cuts much better but having been told to use a new blade after several projects I went with this set. So far I'm very disappointed. Although the plastic case is good for storing extra blades.
