It seems like a really worthy set. I've used them a few times and they work well. They stick well to the bottom of the mold. Even when pouring wax, they stayed in place; this is always the main test for them. If they don't stick well enough, the bottom of your candle can float up and end up almost anywhere on the bottom or side of the candle you're making. Since the bottom part twists like the top part, I can make the candle slot even worse. They are held at every stage of casting and during cooling. When I wanted to take the candle out of the mold, it turned out that both were fine. I had no problem with that being good because while sometimes you can use casting wax to hold the wick in place it will make a candle, sometimes it's better if you don't. A set that works well and is on hand just in case, as it should.
