The ethernet port seriously messed up my network

Had to send it back. Caused a very very strange problem with my router. Try it: AT&T (1000/1000 fiber connection) The modem is bridged with an Orbi router and a Wi-Fi mesh system. The Orbi router has 3 Gigabit Ethernet ports. Big. I have a 20TB Drobo NAS, a Philips Hue hub and this Satechi USB-C hub connected to it. A USB-C hub was connected to my late 2016 MacBook Pro. So far everything is pretty simple. Worked as expected. A MacBook Pro over Ethernet on Satechi can hit 950 Mbps up and down on Speedtest.com, while the top speed on WiFi is around 500/500. However, when I removed the Satechi hub from my Macbook Pro and started surfing wirelessly over WiFi. my Drobo NAS goes offline and my Hue goes offline and I can't turn on the light. Literally and figuratively leaves me in the dark. how strange it is I reconnect the Satechi hub to my MacBook Pro and my Drobo reconnects to the network, as does my Philips Hue system. CREEPY. For a few days I assumed it was related to my Macbook Pro and Orbi router, causing problems with Drobo and Hue when hardwired. Satechi USB hub. The hub was not connected to anything, only an ethernet cable was connected. I wanted to test the cable a bit more. The moment I unplugged the ethernet cable from the Satechi hub (that's the only thing the hub was connected to),
