I am very happy with this standing desk. For the price it's worth it. It is durable and can be installed at any height. When in the down (flat) position, it's fairly flat (less than 2.5 inches above the table surface) and comfortable to use while seated. Easy to get up and easy to fall; As other buyers have pointed out, it takes a moderate amount of force to press down, but it's not hard at all. The surface is ideal for laptop and mouse/mouse pad, but also for mobile phone or small laptop or even for a cup of coffee. It would be difficult to fit a laptop and an external monitor on this standing desk, but it is possible if the external monitor isn't very large. I have already recommended this model to several colleagues.
