Before making a final purchase decision, I compared products and was wary of buying a new monitor. I knew I needed to upgrade to the 60Hz refresh rate that my previous monitor was locked to because over the years I've upgraded other components of my system to the point where I could display content much faster than my monitor could display could. The lag was painfully obvious when playing action games - not just online FPS, but small platform jumps and other hard single player games where I reacted to what I was seeing but got a little wrong. The difference was amazing! I was honestly scared that I'd feel buyer remorse and not notice the difference, but it honestly exceeded my expectations. The included "Quick Start Guide" was pathetic; This is the only downside I've experienced. After searching the web I found that I need to enable HDR in the OS display settings. After adjusting in each game, the monitor displayed content smoother than anything I've ever seen. I really hope this continues for many years to come!
