Not consistent, inaccurate, not recommended

I really really wanted to like it. The first one I bought was too incompatible so I returned it for a replacement. The second seemed stable at first, but of course now that I was out of the return window its readings were everywhere. I just took my 4 year old's temperature 5 times and it was between 103.1, 97.9, 99.1, 99.5 and 101.1. . My 4 year old is fine. Very dissatisfied with this purchase, we return to our $8 under-tongue thermometer.
