This product did leave my hair smooth and tangle free, as promised.It does have a nice scent that is not annoying or cloying or over powering. However, it smells nothing like blackberry or bay. Just a nice clean scent.I gave it five stars because it is a bit pricey for the bottle size and the performance result that is very nice but similar to other less expensive brands. However due to the combination of performance and scent, I will buy it again.As another review mentioned, the pump was very difficult to open. Perhaps by design, to keep the product from spilling out during shipping.I had to watch an internet video that shows a hack on how to release a pump on a pump bottle that won't release to pump out the product.The video showed to remove the pump, rinse it and dry it, then grasp below the pump with right hand (a rubber glove helps keep it from sliding around) then, while gripping firmly below the pump top, turn the pump top counter clockwise.I did that, and. pop, it easily opened.
