It is important to weigh kittens daily to ensure they are not sick. The fact is that kittens are very mobile and it is sometimes difficult to get an exact figure. I tare the scales with a tall container so the kittens can't just run away. These scales automatically have a "hold" function that turns on every time I turn the scale on (so I don't have to press a button if I want the hold function to work). You must either wrap the kittens in a blanket or try to distract them for a few seconds until you hear a "beep". It's not the scale's fault, they're just trying to be accurate when the kitten moves. I dropped the scale and now have to press the buttons very hard, but before I dropped it the buttons responded as expected. No complaints, in fact I went back to order more. Don't forget to spay or neuter your cat so I don't have to buy cat house scales again. Please and thank you
