It's obviously not original when you see it on the car.
. It's broken. a few months of use but it's not very good. Made in Taiwan, metric threads/nuts, poor gasket and no washers to actually cover the holes and distribute the load. It has no rivets on the back, it has pan head screws with locking tabs, and they protrude through the gasket and are visible from the outside. Of course he fell into the hole and will open the door. But this is the MINIMUM for a door knob. Also, everything about it is mediocre.
