Poor instructions, camera mount wobbles

I am trying to install a GoPro camera under this mount. The included plastic piece has a lip on the front that prevents it from sitting securely flush. There is always a gap between this part and the main aluminum part of the bracket. Therefore, the camera is always moving from side to side. Whether it was done that way on purpose or it's a defective part remains a mystery, and it's annoying. The instructions are exactly what you would expect from a super cheap Chinese one-day product - they are absolutely minimal. 7 different products are presented on a small piece of paper. Some of the included parts speak for themselves (e.g. Garmin adapter, Wahoo adapter, etc.). Others don't speak for themselves (2 pieces of plastic on the top of the bracket that appear identical except for the cryptic engraved symbols). In the "instructions" this is not mentioned at all. The manufacturer's website is also useless. They have an FAQ page and nothing else. Overall, the product seems designed for maximum aggravation. Maybe I should have bought a K-Edge product instead.
