Superb brush plates, best accessories and consumables

This is my favorite brush. While this company makes a different mount that is built into the plate, I find this type to be more versatile. It is essentially a decor style insert with a hole about 1" x 2 1/4" that allows you to use larger mounts and make them 2 or 3 gang or use them in conjunction with other low voltage inserts like trapezoid Distortion. Connections for RJ45, RCA, HDMI pass-through or speaker connections. You can also replace the pretty but plain nylon plates with your own decorative switches. Their setup was as good as it gets. They align easily and the plastic is flexible enough so you don't have to worry about breaking anything. There are no sharp edges, and the presence of template cards with a small piece of double-sided tape on the back makes aligning and cutting the opening a bit easier. Brush plates are used to route low voltage cables through walls, providing a neat, clean appearance where the cable exits the wall. However, remember that they are designed for low voltage applications, so you should not use them on power cords with large plugs. In most cases, the HDMI cable will be the longest that goes through this hole and should be of adequate size. Highly recommended.
