Fabric is soft and light but not see-through. I'm 5'1 (so pretty short) and the pant length is great! I ordered a medium. Only thing that I don't like about it is the "pull string" around the waist band. It's just for show to make a bow. it doesn't pull the waist band any tighter. Other than that, highly recommend this jumpsuit!
