Very good terrarium. It comes in beautiful and durable packaging. But it is flat packed and 100% assembly required. Once assembled, the terrarium is actually a terrarium. It is not waterproof and does not retain water. The terrarium has everything I need to keep reptiles. Front sliding glass panels provide easy access to the animals and the enclosure for feeding and cleaning. A piece of glass blocking the substrate located behind the sliding doors helps keep the substrate and animals inside. Door locking mechanism to keep your pets safe when you have company or small children. why do i need it Well, many moons ago my favorite snake was stolen from my aquarium while the crew was working at my house. learned my lesson It's not so secure you can't open the tank from the top, for example. But hopefully it will put up a little resistance and keep the opportunistic sticky fingers at bay. The lid has wire cutouts and closes when not in use. The metal grid plate withstands the heat of lamps. Feel free to watch my video for a closer look at the first build.
