slightly torn I use three monitors at home (via a docking station with my laptop). However, when I travel, I can always use the hotel room TV and another portable monitor. Of course, my laptop has an HDMI output. With this dongle I have two HDMI outputs to connect two monitors. As others have noted, there are drivers when connected to the device (shows up as the E: drive on my computer). Drivers for Windows and MAC are included, although Revain.com's description says they do not work on MAC. I didn't have to install anything. The video and sound drivers were installed by Windows 10. I've noticed that there are cheaper versions of the same type of adapter from different vendors. However, I have to say that the thick cable and metal body give it a premium look. It appears to be very well built, unlike some of the plastic equivalents I've tried (which ended up working fine but eventually stopped working). It looks like it's built to last. Just take a look!
