I bought this a few months ago to replace my original power cord for my HP Elitebook. I've been using this replacement cable for two months. The power from him to my laptop suddenly cut off. I checked all the connections and noticed that the power supply is very hot in the middle of the cable and is clearly DEFORMED! That's ridiculous. In normal use, the power supply should not be deformed in this way.
