Review on EarFun Cancelling Bluetooth Detection Headphones by Melissa Lopez

My experience with the Earfun Air Pros made me question the validity of headphone review sites like rtings, soundguys and whathifi. They have been promoted on these pages as the best TWS earbuds for less than $100. My experience with them: 1. They are quite uncomfortable and don't sit naturally in the ears at all. I had to use a mirror to position them as shown in the instructions.- 1.5. Don't even think about sleeping with them if you're sleeping on your side.2. If you don't install them perfectly, passive sound absorption will suffer significantly.3. The active noise cancellation really isn't impressive, I kept checking to make sure it was on. My Soundpeats T2 have better ANC and cost less than $0.4. Pass-thru is really tinny and awful, and has weird random gaps in what it skips. Although I knew when I bought them that they didn't have a built in volume control, I underestimated that omission. Any advantage that gyroscopic touch control offers is completely offset by the fact that it limits the number of touch control functions available. I get very annoyed with "professional" review sites that dismiss noodle controls as an acceptable compromise. I wonder if they ever wear the gear they test outside of the lab in the real world. They sound pretty good, but TWS headphones are a crowded competitive market and LOTS of them sound pretty good. I'll give them a few more days to see if I grow fond of them, but I'm 95% sure I'll get them back.
