I have decided to install LED lights in my bathroom cornice. To hide the unsightly wire I bought these cord holders. The top and bottom are separate so you can open the shelter at any time. The plastic is smooth so I would have to sand or prime if I wanted to paint. Plastic is easy to cut. All I used was a utility knife with a new blade and a notch on top and bottom (separated from each other). I was then able to click in the notched area for a clean break. Adhesive strips are supplied separately for maximum flexibility. First I put all the cable clamps on the wire. I then peeled off one side and stuck the adhesive strips where I wanted to place them; Press firmly to ensure they are secure. Then I peeled off the other side of the adhesive strips and glued on the cable holders. I placed them close together to completely hide the cable. You can see the stitching up close, but not to the side. I was surprised how well the glue works. I used it on an area that was a combination of caulk and translucent paint and they hold up with no problem.
