What else can you say about the standard HD Sportster air intake upgrade? It works exactly as advertised and should outlast your bike with minimal regular maintenance. In other words, this is the last air filter you will buy. I didn't have to bleed the carb after changing it, but that's because I run an XLH1200S and don't use brake lines or pull the baffles off my CycleShack M lines. I assume you may need to do a little work to get the right fuel mixture on other carbureted HD sportssters. It should be noted that the 1388 is NOT a replacement for Screamin' Eagle Stage 1 units. It should also be noted that the 1388 will NOT fit post 2003 Sportsters.
